JUNIOR FIREFIGHTER PROGRAM
Our junior firefighter program was established in 2009. We are proud to posess the
capabilities to allow the young men and women of our community to participate with our
organization. This program gives our young people the opportunity to learn the aspects of
fire and emergency medical services. They are required to follow standard operating
guidlines which cover areas such as school grades, respect, morals, behavior, and
citizenship. They paricipate in classroom and practical training, and are invited to train
with the senior firefighters. They attend our regular business meetings, participate in
fundraising, and most fuctions of the department. Once they reach the age of 18, they are
eligible for full membership to the department. We realize that our young people are the
future of our department. There are many benefits with membership to our program. If you
are interested in membership, click on the Membership icon for an application. You can
drop it by New Deal City Hall, New Deal Fire Station, or send us an email about your
interest. We work and train, but also have fun.
